Autumn Bucks

Well the bucks have shed their velvet and are now hard-horned. I cannot believe how fast this summer went. I'm starting to get some decent bucks on all of my 9 trail cameras I have out in the field now. I was excited to get my very first split brow last week when I went in to check a cam. Last winter I got a split main beam on one of my cameras. Here are a few from recent cam checks-

  1. Wow. Just wow. My best picture of a buck here in central NY, isn't as good as your worst. Split brow?!? I'm lucky if these boys have ANY brow tines! Asymmetrical messes they are. I have gotten a coyote, turkeys, raccoons, rabbits, a neighbor, her dog, and a crow...eating apples no less. But, alas, no decent bucks. So I'll have to survive on yours. Please keep them coming! Have you seen anything of the drop tine buck?

  2. Hi. That split brow is a dandy. I have two cameras in the area now hoping to catch him again. I haven't seen the weird drop tines buck for over a month now. I have a camera in his core hoping to see him again. Stay tuned.
