Starting To Grow

Checked a few of my cams today and got some bucks just starting to grow their antlers after shedding them the past few months. I'll be following them with my trail cameras documenting their antler growth throughout the summer months.

It's been painfully slow lately on my 10 trail cameras I have out around the island. Most of my big bucks were killed during shotgun season. And the rest have cast their antlers by now. Here are a few pictures from various cameras.

Bucks At A Scrape

During the rut back in November I set up one of my trail cameras over an active scrape. I got some great action there. Several bucks stopped by the scrape at night. This was my very first time setting up at a scrape. My camera was aimed too low but I thought the videos came out pretty good. Next time I will aim the camera higher.

Today's Trail Camera Check

I was able to get to several of my trail cameras that are out today. I had some interesting results. Still a ton of big bucks around even though it's coming up on the second week of shotgun season here on the island. Here are a few pictures I selected from the cameras I checked today-
